2010 Book 10 - Shutter Island

I know that I've skipped between 7 to 10, but there are 2 books that I need to write about but don't have them with me. Since I'm not planning on bringing this book home with me on the plane, I thought I'd go ahead and write about this book and then get books 8 and 9 when I have them in hand.

So, Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane has been made into a movie, in case you weren't aware. Here is what is written on the back of the book:
In the year 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner, Chuck Aule,
come to Shutter Island, home of Ashecliffe Hospital for the Criminally Insane,
to investigate an unexplained disappearance. Multiple murderess Rachel Solando
is loose somewhere on this barren island, despite having been kept under
constant surveillance in a locked, guarded cell. As a killer hurricane bears
relentlessly down on the island, hints of radical experimentation and covert
government machinations add darker, more sinister shades to an already bizarre
case. Because nothing at Ashecliffe Hospital is remotely what it seems.

I found the story to be very captivating and has quite the twist. This is a book that I would definitely recommend.

I would be too scared to read it. The previews for the movie frighten me.

I wish I could cram in a good book right now...I'd end up staying up all night to read it, which would NOT be a good thing the next day.
