Life at the Castle

First, I know you are all very jealous that I get to stay with the Queen and you don't.

Second, I haven't this much healthy food on consecutive nights since I graduated from college and my Mom stopped cooking regularly for me. The King has cooked dinner ever night, minus one, and I've had the pleasure of taking the leftovers for lunch or the following night. I was even blessed to have the Queen make grilled cheese for lunch today!! My body doesn't know what to do with all the lean meat, brown rice, and veggies; except enjoy and crave more healthy!!

I really feel like I'm settling in nicely, here. AND the puppies are accepting me!!

Settling In

I just wanted to put a quick note out here to let those of you who are wondering what happened between my last post and now...

When we last left, my Dad and I had arrived in Albuquerque and heading off on the last leg to home. We got up and around on Saturday and headed out. Dad started out driving and drove through to Abilene. I then took over the wheel through Mineral Wells then he took us on home. I was really happy that my Dad offered and I took him up on the offer to drive back with me. I considered it for about 24 hours...actually about 30 minutes....and then took him up and I was so glad to have him with me to share the burden of the drive.

Yesterday, my sister, BIL, niece and nephew came over t my folks place and we caught up, had lunch, and looked at probably a fourth of my folk's Alaska pictures. I'll have to look at them again, as I tended to doze during some of them. I then headed over to the Queen and King's house.

I arrived and we (mostly th King) unloaded my car, we relaxed, and I had my first of many, I'm sure, of yummy meals. We watched a little TV then headed off to bed.

This morning I got up, unpacked all my clothes, started some laundry, got a lesson on alarms and remotes and is now going to head off to my storage unit and to pick up my wine and visit with my Fairie Friend!!
