So, I was called out by the Blog Police for not posting anything in the past two weeks, so I guess I need to at a minimum let you all know that I am still alive.
I started back to work at my "old" company last week, on Valentine's Day. I walked in the door and my boss met me with flowers.... turns out he sent them to all the females on his team. The wacky thing was that I still had my old computer and much of my log-ins were quickly reinstated so I pretty much got right to work....including addressing the 300+ emails that I received during the 5 weeks that I wasn't around. Ah well.....
There really hasn't been a lot of excitement or blog-worthy events going on in my life, ergo MIA ABBA.
I did dog-sit at the Castle last weekend, which is always fun as there is nothing like 3 sets of eyes staring at you while you eat or fighting over who gets to sit on your lap.
I brought a large Brita water pitcher to the office to force myself to drink more water and since I'm trying really REALLY hard to cut out artificial sweeteners (as well as processed sugars in general) I'm forgoing flavoring my water with Crystal Light. However, I'm not a big fan of the non-taste of just plain water, so I've been experimenting with different fruits.... I had oranges for 3 days, but they tend to get bitter towards the end of the day. Yesterday, I tried lemon slices, which was better. Today, I've got lime slices floating around and I have to say that I think lime is my favorite, but I'll have to see how things are at the end of the day...
I also did receive a package in the mail from The Champ. She sent me a beautiful wall calendar of Alaskan Quilts that she picked up for me on her cruise. Thanks, Kim!! I love it!!
I know that I'm approaching the first quarter reporting period of my resolutions, so I guess I should probably start working on them....
